2000 Familiar Words Course – Learn German Vocabulary Fast!. Cognate words are words that are very similar or the same in two different languages. This is a very underrated way to quickly learn foreign language vocabulary. There are thousands of English-German cognates and in this course you will learn 2000 of them to speed up your German vocabulary learning. This course is suitable for German language learners at any level. We start with beginner A1 level vocabulary and progress to more advanced vocabulary for B2/C1 level. However, since the words you will learn here are very similar or even identical to English, even if you are a complete beginner, you can easily learn B2 level vocabulary.
